Pain isn't inevitable. If we encounter it along the way it makes us stronger and cherish love when we finally find it.If we don't risk the possibility of pain then we're unlikely to find love.

EVERY relationship suffers hard times. Love has to have bad times so you can fully appreciate the good times. You WILL get hurt from time to time. But you have to ask yourself "would I rather love and get hurt, or would I rather never love at all?" Personally, I would rather love because even if I do get hurt, I can still say that at least I tried and I can pick myself up and move on.

When you love someone getting hurt is inevitable because anything that person says or does matters greatly to you. That person has an effect on you and every effect has a consequence...when the effect is negative that consequence usually is hurt.

I would say so... We're not all perfect... but we try to be as perfect as we can be..... Like Christ... we need wisdom with love each day.. whether in a relationship or not...
Sometimes love has to hurt because of things we've done or things they've done...
I think for a relationship to really grow in love, they need to have problems that they can overcome together.. We need wisdom though to help eachother get through it...
Hope that helps
Blessings as you celebrate the birth of Christ
Merry christmas

of course it hurts. true love has to come with hurt but it's not like it will hurt all the time, just sometimes. alot of the time pain and hurt will bond two people closer together

In order to truly love, you have to be willing to get hurt. It's a chance we all take. Now, does it have to hurt? I hope not but it's always caused me some type of pain. I, however, am no saint and have played my part in causing pain. The trick here is to learn how not to cause pain and hope you don't receive it.

The pain in learning is worth the possibility of one true love. God I hope that proves to be true.

Love is a game full of risks. Play well and it will reward you, play badly and it won't.

Love has a lot to do with luck as well, some people have it and some don't.

Getting hurt is part of the risk.

no you cannot love anyone and not be hurt, because i loved a person so much that they didn't know it. but when he got married it broke my heart i would wake up crying in the night about this and to this day i still love him

if love didn't hurt we would get too board with it. we need feel hurt from the person we love to learn more about them and ourselves. with out the hurt you can't build as much trust with that one person. no one can hurt you like someone you trust to not hurt you. that is why most marriages fail, because ppl seem to think it should be easy and with out pain.
