I would think that both were honorable and fulfilling careers. With cosmetic surgery, you will have a much more thorough medical training, and then several internships and lots of school!! But I'm sure they make more money than a dentist. Dentistry is also a medical degree, however, the training is not as long and intense as cosmetic surgery. Ask yourself, which one would I regret if I didn't try? Maybe you could find some films of plastic surgery that would help you see exactly what a plastic surgeon has to deal with. Same with the dentistry. There are many lines of medical specialities so just think and research those you're interested in. It's a whole lot easier to learn about something you're interested in than to do something just for the bucks. Godloveya.

You don't say (and I don't know how to find out) where you are from. If you are in the UK, my advice, I think, is accurate - if not, I'm sorry to waste your time.
In the UK the out look in most branches of surgery is pretty grim right now. the government massively overestimated the number of consultants that they would need in all specialities, especially surgery, and so have ended up with a lot of qualified doctors, and no jobs to put them in. All at the expense of the tax payer, I might add. A result of this is that specialities that were previously fairly competitive, like plastic/cosmetic surgery, are now basically a closed door.
Thats not to say that things won't have changed by the time you get to that stage however - but dentists have for some time had a higher average earnings than doctors by virtue of being privatised, so it comes down to why you want to do either. The money option at the moment (and has been for meny years) is dentistry - but you have to ask yourself whether you woulf be happy looking in slightly smelly small dark holes for the rest of your life.
I suggest you do some work experience with a denstist and a plastic surgeon. They will give you the true facts about each, and this will also give you invaluable brownie points when it comes to your university application form.
Good luck!!

I think that cosmetic surgery would probably be the better carrer, but Im not in the position to tell you, because I work as neither. More and more people are turning towards cosmetic surgery now so I think it would be wiser. Thats just my opinion though.

I really dont know;; but just being a regular dentist I think would be better. There are a lot of people out there that get cavities and need fillings, root canals, etc. You would have more work since dentists are more practical for the average person.
GOOD LUCK<3

Cosmetic surgery is fairly profitable but with a lot of malpractice insurance, Dentistry is what I consider to be a monotonous suburbs job, it pays the WASPy standards but isn't glamorous
