will she go into labour soon or can that be normal temp for a chihuahua *****?

Hello don't think you can judge on temp until you have taken her temp for a few days to get her average temp but usually 100 to 102 but if you girl is due any time then just stop stressing and look forward to it. I LOVE PUPPIES!

The average temp for a dog is between 100.5-102.5 so she seems 2 be ok. How long into the pregnancy is she coz dogs give birth at approx. 9 wks.Also BEWARE!! Chihuahua are prone to caesereans due to the size we were lucky with ours as she didnt need one but did need vet assisant as the afterbirth got stuck so it may be handy to be near a vets when she begins to whelp and cry!!

Her temp. can go down several days before she whelps. But now is the time to get her comfy in her whelping box if you haven't already, so she can start nesting. When she is ready, she'll have likely stopped eating and will be acting very restless, maybe following you around. That's the time to stay close to her in case she wants or needs your help.

take her temp a couple of times during the day and if it goes down then you know your going to be a grandma soon. Congrats.

temp should be 101 bit this can vary . Call the vet if you are unsure. If the temp goes up and down please call the vet

I would say she would be due in a few days maybe a week at the least couse my dog is having babies too.

doesnt sound normal. ring the emergency vet and they will take care of it. if it does have puppies
