I know this is a broad question, but I was wondering how much you could learn in one day and retain that information well. Challenges including becoming burned out, energy level, and motivation all beforebecoming mentally tired enough where you won't remember anymore the longer you stare at it?

Please try to make something with the question I have provided, use common sense to try to analyze my question without a cynical slant. Thank you.

It is not as simple as how much can you fill a glass. Your brain loses millions of cells each year to allow for changes. A real shock like 9-11 removes cells chemically to allow for more cortex memories. If you are just getting an education well it is harder to remove the dead cells and think better.

I would have to say that you could only study something and retain that something for maybe three-four hours worth of work. Some people it can be more, others less. It depends on your mental acuity how you will handle the information.

For memory, the ideal times you should study, are just before and just after sleep.
