Is the pain physical, or emotional?
If it is physical, such as a bad car crash, then only time will heal the pain.
If it is emotional, some simple exercises in your kitchen will rid you of the pain.

Stand, facing your counter top. Hands on the edge of the counter top. Do counter top pushups, 10 times. Do them slowly.
Put one foot back a bit, firmly on the floor. Same pushups, but this time stretching the leg set back. 10 times. Slowly.
Then do the other foot.
Hands on top of the counter, squat up and down slowly. 10 times.
Takes about 15 minutes total.
In a couple of days, the pain will start to go away.

So sorry to hear you are burdened, you and your children are in my prayers. Don't lose faith. I am a single mom with 4 daughters and trust me we have come across MANY stumbling blocks but we never lost faith and God was and continues to be there with us though it doesn't seem he is. It's a test of faith, strength and courage. Very humbling at times but looking back I'm thankful for what I've had to go through to get to where I'm going. I am a spiritual warrior for Jesus and now I say:

You are being untrue to yourself. If you are in greif or pain, you need to experience that, and work it out. Even if it is Christmas. You will only hurt yourself more and even those around you by pretending. Yes, I will pray that you resolve this situation without lying to yourself.

I am sorry for your loss. I will have my Brother-in-law's widow and her son at my home tomorrow. My brother-in-law died suddenly a week ago. We had his memorial on his 49th birthday. I am not looking forward to seeing their pain. It is going to be strange because it is supposed to be such a happy day. I will pray for you and your children. Will you do the same for our family?Peace out.
