Example: A friend (male), says they will call you back in a couple of days and you don't hear back at all, should you leave another message for them, or is this a simple way of blowing you off?

I would leave another message but, that is just me. Guys get scared off by thinking you are waiting around for them. Like it's such a commitment to be courteous in returning your call. I understand completely where you are coming from . If women say they are going to do something, then by golly they do it! Good luck, and I hope your friend isn't playing games with you b/c that is a hard kinda guy to figure out. Honesty is always the best way!!

How long have you guys been friends? Sometimes I tell my girl I'll call her back and don't for a week. She knows we have busy schedules so she doesn't take it personally. Then again, she and I have been friends for about 16 years now.
The older you get, the busier life gets. Don't take it so personal, and if you feel like they're ignoring you... CALL HIM BACK!!

I would advise you to ask the same question you're posting to the guy you're referring to. Sometimes people get busy and sometimes people just need another nudge that shows you're really interested. If you call again and then get no response then I wouldn't call anymore if I were you. Hope this helps.

Its best to just forget about them until they actually call. If and when they do then you can start to worry about them. Why stress over something that might not even happen?

i wouldnt leave another message. if they really are interested in knowing me better or something then they would call back as they said.

If a guy really likes you he will do everything possible to contact you again.
If he does´nt its because you did´nt like him so much.
That´s my way of thinking and acting.

He is 'blowing you off' Don't call him again...let him call you. If he does then don't call him for awhile
