Everyone knows the real date of his birth is not in December. He was born around Passover in the spring. Look in Matthew ch. 2

I don't do those illegal things on Christmas...

No, the exact date of His birth is unknown to us, but this date was chosen as the day to celebrate it.

Christmas trees are a sign of everlasting life- EVERgreens stay green and lively all year, even in the darkest, coldest days of winter. The star at the top symbolizes the star that shone brightly over Bethlehem, leading all there to see the newborn King.

Hundreds of years ago, an elderly man (with white hair & beard) was known to go around giving gifts to children in orphanages and telling them about Christ. His name was Nicholas and to some people he was like a saint (because he cared so much for the children). Thus began the tradition of St. Nick (Santa Claus).

Merry Christmas.

Your question is less of a question and more of a rant. I've already answered this question at least 6 times this month and I'm getting tired of repeating myself.
We don't know the exact day of Jesus Christ's birth, we chose December 25th because a lot of people celebrated Winter Solstice and other holidays then.
Guess what Abdul? It doesn't matter.

Oh and on a personal note, I do not drink wine, use drugs, or engage in illegal sex on Christmas nor on any other day. Peace be with you.

No, the 25th may not be Jesus' literal birthday.

It is celebrated then for profound symbolic reasons.

For it is celebrated just about in the darkest time of the year when the sun has almost the least light.

That is symbolic of the fact that the world was pretty much the darkest when Jesus came into it to save it.

Were it not for Jesus' coming, the world would have continued spiraling down into a vortex of violence and injustice until it led to the eternal damnation of all of humanity.

Christians have never claimed that Dec. 25th was Christ's actual birthday and Xmas trees and Santa Claus have nothing to do with the Christian celebration of Christmas.

Dear Readers...

No where in the Bible does it say or imply that Jesus was born on Dec 25!

FYI

Just the Opposite, as the Sheppard's were in the field, [SUMMER] and in December it is too cold to Keep SHEEP in the Field!

Thanks, RR

PS We also Do Not Need any other Reports from Any OTHER Religion to Validate this fact! WHO can believe writings that WERE NOT INSPIRED!

To be honest there is more positive proof he wasn't born on the 25th of Decemeber. However if you were a Christian you could be excused for celebrating Christmas on the grounds of a celebration of someone's birth does not necessarily have to be on the actual date. let's face it I've often said on a work's night out it's my birthday, makes for a cheaper night out.

"It replaced into no longer till A.D. 350, that December 25 replaced into declared the decent date for celebrating Christmas via Pope Julius I. while the fathers of the church desperate to % out a date to celebrate the form, they wisely chosen the day of the iciness solstice, by using fact it coincided with some rival religions' celebrations and the rebirth of the solar." Paganism additionally predates Christianity and paganistic holidays had already been popular for the duration of the 12 months. additionally by using those adjustments with the julian calendar over the final 2 thousand years the East Orthodox or midsection jap Orthodox church homes celebrate Christmas on Jan 7 and not Dec 25. there is no data to assert he wasnt born on Jan 7 or Dec 25, yet why could we show it? Why do u sense the could seek for acceptance from non christians for a faith you have faith lots in? sure there are a lot of people available that attempt to discredit it, yet who cares with reference to the arguments. in case you like your God and Jesus lots, then who cares what we expect of or what we are able to show? If somebody ought to show you data could u lose your perception? If data wouldnt sway you from believing then why ask the question first of all? faith is a controversy of believing in something. faith isn't approximately attempting to place data or labels on it. in case you have faith then why are u asking us for the solutions? bypass ask your God, in basic terms he can inform you the reality.

The exact date isn't important. To follow his teaching is important. You watch too much TV. True Christian's aren't doing those things you are talking about. Having a fake tree or Santa isn't hurting anyone. It isn't like they were blowing up people. Which IS a sin to God, to destroy life.

The specific date of birth is not the point of the Christmas holiday. Just like how whether or not Jesus was black, white, or olive skinned isnt the point of who he was. Just like how whether or not Abraham was told to sacrifice Ishmael or Isaaq is not the point of Abraham's faith in God or the Hajj.

When one doesnt look at the whole picture, they just get doubt and frustration. It will kill you inside.
