The reason the 1943 Lincoln Cent is magnetic is because it is made of Steel instead of Copper. During World War Two, copper rationing made it necessary to mint pennies out of steel, instead, to use the precious copper in war time production. Because this practice began in 1943, a small number of the copper blanks still in the hopper were stamped before the steel blanks began to roll off the line. Copper is not attracted to magnets, steel is. Your steel penny, depending on condition, is probably worth 2¢ to 5¢

Allot depends on the mint state condition, but it is certainly worth more then one cent.
