sadly, the world has become cynical:-(
it would be nice if we could all come together as you say, but as we are so untrusting of one and other, then this may not ever happen in our lifetime! I think that before we can sit together as equals and celedrate a time like Christmas, we must put aside our differences and accept those around us, for the way we are!

The problem isn't with the gift-swapping. It's when you're so hellbent on buying gifts that you're getting into fistfights with other people at department stores while trying to seek them out.
While the holiday season may have many meanings to many different people, it seems pretty commonly accepted that it's supposed to be a time of peace and goodwill and hope. Don't let the 'gift' part of Christmas get in the way of that.

What a beautiful world it would be. Best plan is to stop the advertising on tv from crimbo eve until day after boxing day for a start. The power of material things begins mainly on the tv with the advertising.....just a start and bring us back to basics at least, or with hope which is what I live in....hope and prayer

shameful to see ppl unblieving in the existance of God. May I ask for what thing asre you living , Are you worshiping mobiles , computers, wines , dancing and make wrong sexual life . ? are theses only things you are living for .
