Trouble with itunes? [sound]?

Question

Can't find the error in www.apple.com... for the last days, everytime a song starts in iTunes it sounds all scratchy, repeating itself and the monitor freezes... this happenes for a little bit, then it returns to normal... any clue on what it might be and how do I fix it? I checked for updates and it's the latest version, and it's not my speakers, since it also happens on the earphones...

i would contact apple and ask them if they've had any similar complaints. maybe there is a glitch that they are trying to work out. it's worth a shot emailing them.
