My dentist said I should do it 6-8 times a day for the teeth I had out because it helps them heal. What is it about salt and warm water that makes gums heal?

Salt heals wounds. And the warm water soothes.

it cleans out your wounds wilthout aggrivating it. you still have holes back there so you want it to stay clean and salt water is the best and you should have it at home so you dont have to psend money on other products.

Not much other than keeping the open area clean with less chance of infection and it feels better
