This is what I do.

You will need:

(any) shampoo/conditioner,gel,wax,hairspray, frizz serum and straight iron.

I usually do this once a week on the weekends and during the week while school all i do is brush through and leave.

1. wash your hair shampoo/condition w/e u do.
2.Rub towel through hair but leave it damp.
3. Brush through knots.
4.Put a good amount of gel into hand and mix with a small amount of conditioner.
5. Comb through the following and let it dry.
(note: it will probably not look so good right now but thats ok.)
6. Rub a good amount of frizz serum through the hair(after it's dry)
7. try to use clips and make sure you flat iron all your hair.
8. put a very small amount of hair wax at the top of your hair.
9. spray some hairspray.

and your hair should look healthy, and sleek. It seems like alot of work but you only should do this once a week,

I'm 14 I used to have the same problem as you (then I cut it) but anyways.... Dove or Aussie 2-in-1 works wonders on my hair... but Dove makes different shampoos for your problem.... so if you just have frizz... find something that goes with it... if other things well just read the labels and it'll help...

my hair is about the same length. i really like tre semme shampoos and conditioners- they seem to work rlly well on my hair (i have fine thick hair).
also, i know a lot of ppl your age (im 14) straighten their hair- DONT! if you want straight hair, blow dry it straight instead- its less damaging to your hair.
