The word "Christmas" is no where to be found in the original manuscripts.

In fact, since Christmas is traditionally thought to be the date of Christ's birth, the Bible offers nothing to pin point his birth date.
Just clues. Such as the shepherds being out watching tending their sheep that night. They wouldn't be doing that in late December. However, early fall they were more likely too. Purhaps in October.

It's not. Christmas was decided on long after the writing of the Bible.

The word "Christmas" does not appear in the Bible. Therefore, "Bible only" Christians should not observe it.

The word CHRISTMAS does not appear anywhere in the Bible because it comes from the Roman Catholic church - Christ and Mass - and was invented by men long after Jesus died. But I guess you already knew that.

Us Christians are not allowed to use the Bible to answer questions. We are also not allowed to use the Bible prophecies to prove the validity of scripture. So why now all of a sudden we are required to validate Christmas with the book that is not allowed here in Yahoo R&S?
Alas I will answer your question. Christmas is not Biblical at all, It is a Christian celebration on an old Pagan holiday. Christmas is 100% self evedent as a holiday weather or not it is 20000 years old or one day old. We celebrate Christ birth hence it is.
:)
Hope that helped.

Everyone knows that Christmas is about the birth of Christ which is clearly in the Bible. Please let's not get silly or foolish.

As a Catholic I do not believe in sola scriptora (by scripture alone). Some Christian denominations do and it is a falacy that brings them into error. No where in scripture does it say we are to abide by scripture alone. In fact, it says we are to rely upon the apostles for the secret truths.

. Eph 3:9-10 It is through God's church (which has apostolic succession) that the messages of the Gospel is revealed: and of making all people see how God’s secret plan is to be put into effect. God, who is the Creator of all things, kept his secret hidden through all the past ages, in order that at the present time, by means of the church, that angelic rulers and powers in the heavenly world might learn of his wisdom in all its different forms.

. I Th 3:2 The message of the apostles were entrusted to their followers to strengthen those who doubted or lacked the faith to believe: “...while we sent Timothy, our brother who works with us for God in preaching the Good News about Christ. We sent him to strengthen you and help your faith,
