I have had horrible tangles for the past week and try and try to get them out and just cant.
Are they any other ways or maybe a home remedy?
I really need to get them brushed out.

♥ ♥ wash your hair, put alot conditioner on it and let it set for a couple of minutes, then rinse it out and use a detangler, use a wide toothed comb and start from the bottom and work your way to the scalp ♥ ♥

When I was little I used a brand called Suave. It was hair detangler. So one option is to use hair detangler or get some fantastic Sam's conditioner. The best way to get tangles out is to take a shower and use recommended shampoo by your hair stylist. Then put in recommended conditioner and leave it on your head for about 20 seconds. After you rinse and get out of the shower put in hair detangler that was also recommended! Brush your hair and you might see a difference! Sorry this is all I have for you! Good Luck!

You haven't said what kind of hair you have, if your hair is fine then it is prone to tangles all the time like mine. The majority of folks here suggest conditioner, and I'd agree with them...let the conditioner set in your hair for 5 minutes or so...rinse it off, then smooth them out with a wide tooth comb, lastly blow dry with a paddle/round brush and set it with shine lotion, that should help.

Don't yank or brush your hair too hard, otherwise you'd cause split ends and more breakage.

Try some spray-on conditioner. Pantene makes it as well as some other hair care companies. When you wash it, use conditioner. That will get the tangles out and will make your hair smooth.

try diluting some hair conditioner with water and spraying on your hair and detangling a few strands (chunks) of hair at a time. i would hold my the hair closest to my head to keep it from hurting too bad. also start out with a wide-toothed comb and then brush to detangle further. good luck.

I think your best bet would be to wash your hair again WITH CONDITIONER then use some disentangler and COMB it out DO NOT USE A HAIR BRUSH! it will break the already delicate hair and you will have splits.

wash your hair with a lot of conditioner... leave it in for a while and brush it while wet.. do that a few times... when you get out put on some leave in conditioner.. if nothing else works sorry but you may have to resort to scissors o.O

Try a sulfate free shampoo - it helps with tangles. I know Alterna and CHI make them.
