Family first always, as long as they are capable of taking care of the child, and providing for their safety and well being.

At home with mom or dad. You should plan or attend playgroups so the child can learn to interact with other kids. They also need an adult who will play with them and work with them on shapes, colors, and later letters and numbers, things like that. Also plan other learning activities. Some preschools and childcare centers can be great for kids if the parents cannot or will not provide a fun learning environment. Daycares that just keep the child while the parents are at work and do not have fun and interact with the kids are no good. If you do choose care other than the parents make sure it is good, fun, loving, clean and safe.

It's always best when Mom and Dad take care of their own kids, but sometimes it calls for daycare. Mom and Dad are best, but there is nothing wrong with daycare, as long as you do spend time with your children after the needed-daycare.

I think a child's best place is with mom, dad, or a family member. Children feel more comfortable! Daycare is not always a bad place!

The mom should be at home raising the kids and the dad should be the one working for the family. If a child is in daycare how will it ever learn to listen to it's parents?

I am a full time stay at home mom of a 20 month old and 31 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby.I have to go with being home with mom and dad as the best but I also like my son to be involved with other kids his age so we go to playgroups and nursery a few times a month.
I want to be able to train my kids how I believe and I want to be in his life as much as possible.I know many parents do not have a choice about daycare though because of work-and I am sure their kids will be every bit as happy and fine as kids sith stay at home mom's.

As a mom who has done both; my oldest daughter went to day care while I worked and I was able to stay home with the other two.
There is enough guilt that parents have when they must leave their child with someone else. Don't let anyone beat you up about it. We do what we have to do.
Just make sure that you are completely comfortable with the day-care provider. My grandson's have a wonderful "school". They are two and four. My daughter will be able to stay home if she chooses to but the kids really love their day-care. She's going to cut the hours that they will be there. (she lives on military base)
The best place for the kids to be is where they feel safe and nurtured.

At home is the best place, but tht is my opinion. I worked in the childcare field for 7 years and have seen many sad things that could have been prevented if the parents were around more. I can't tell you how many times I got called mommy. It was sad to realize that those kids I took care of spent more time with me than with their families. However, it is also based on the individual needs of you family. Only you can make that decision.
Good luck!

The best place for a child is with his or her mother or father. but it is alo a great idea for children to be around kids there own age. So if you have to work or something like that yes take your child to a daycare or someone you trust.

It's always better for them to be home with a parent, but if you can't do that, make sure you look into daycares and choose the best that you can find.

I am a stay at home mom. I think that is the best place for MY children. I think it varies from house to house. If mom and dad can't or don't want to stay home that is fine. Also... some people can't afford to have one stay home. If it works for your family, do it. If not, fix it so something works right. Good luck
