Poor thing.

This can be devestating, a double blow if you will. Sadly, your friend is not your real friend and you deserve better than the guy too. I would confront my friend, and give her the chance to explain herself, and I would tell in a very mature way that what hurt the most , is not that she went out with him, but that it was done behind your back.

Next, you will need time to heal. I would also seek to make other friends in new places, and trust me when I tell you,,, one day .. this will mean nothing, this pain WILL pass. You will find someone who truly loves you for you, and friends who are loyal and who not double cross you , even if the opportunity arose!!!!

In all truth, did anything happen, or did they just go see a movie together? Because that in itself, is not a crime. If they are friends, then going to see a flick together shouldn't be taken out of context.
Talk to your boyfriend and your best friend to see if there was anything other than friendship, behind their movie watching night.

I am so sorry to hear that. But at least you know that she isn't a good friend. The best antidote for a broken heart is to surround yourself with people who love you and are truly your friends and to go out every morning with a smile on your face knowing that today is a new day with infinite posibilities. And remember what goes around comes around your friend and ex will get what is coming to them.

Don't get me wrong it is takes time to get over a broken heart but I get over a broken heart by hanging out with friends and finding a new love. My favorite quote I learned from my grandma is Is If You Miss One Bus There Is Always Another One.

Remember that time in "Empire Strikes Back" where Yoda just lifts his hand and the X-Wing floats right out of the swamp? Well, forget it then.

Emotional healing takes time. Sorry to hear about your misery before the holiday. Good luck to you.

Because both of them are in mature and thoughtless of others.

Ok. Come to an understanding WHY you are heartbroken, accept that you were betrayed, and then come to the conclusion that they are beneath you because they have no honor.

Ask them both what is going on there and why you were not informed of their outing. Their answers and behavior towards it all will give you all the information you are seeking from them both.
