I'm crushing on this one guy big time, I freeze up at the sound of his voice, as he brushes by me, and when he looks into my eyes its hard to talk or look away. He kind of likes me, but I need some tips to help with the freezing up stuff.

Oh, and I have talked to him a couple of times, but it didn't go very well because of this.

Yeah, you got it bad! I have been there too a couple times. All you can really do is try to breath and relax. When you get to know him a little better, just be honest and tell him you're nervous. He is probably a little nervous too. Then just wait for that amazing feeling when he tells you it's ok and that you dont have to be nervous either.

ask him questions that will get him to talk about himself, because guys love to talk about themselves, generally. even if he isn't generally a talker, it's easier for him to talk about himself than many other topics. after all, he's around him all the time and thus quite the expert on himself. he is the best person to inform you about what you want to know about him, so let him know that you want all that sort of information about him.

if he asks you similar questions about you, that will give you something you're expert to talk about too.

those ideas should get your dialogue going.

one other thing. if you have mutual friends, you could both hang with those friends so that the setting is more relaxed than just "the 2 of you".
