If your processor can handle it, I would use the Windows 2000 or perhaps XP platform. Also, is there someone who can help you if you need it?
You might check with Microsoft, sometimes a licenced tech can do your upgrade remotely if you have an adequate connection speed. I am sure they have something available for the disabled. If not, they should have!

Yes you can, but you are asking for some Problems and Issues.
Contact Microsoft and they may have a version of XP for for handicapped for little or no monies!
I have found that I need to Format my old drive with DOS and then Load the New Operating System.
Thanks, RR

Win98 SE is the 2d version of residing house windows... it has USB force potential. Hontrol panel -> help will inform you the version of win98 you're operating. if you're operating win98 you may move information straight away between the pcs utilizing laplink and a particular laplink cable (that's really a serial crossover cable). or you should use floppy disks (Yech!). or you should use an ethernet crossover cable. Or once you're feeling somewhat rad, take the difficult disk out of the win98 computing gadget and positioned it into the winxp one... both as a slave (set jumper to slave) on between the IDE busses with a disk on or carry close on the IDE bus with out disk on (relies upon in case your XP gadget has the CD/DVD on the same IDE bus because the difficult disk). then you extremely can use XP to reproduction information off the disk. Or for actual rad, purchase a USB disk field and positioned the win98 disk into the USB disk field, plug into the USB socket of the XP computing gadget and use it as an exterior force... and positioned it decrease back once you've finished.

Yes, it's very easy. You just need to purchase a newer version of Windows, insert the CDROM and follow the instructions using your mouse.
