Hi again!
m4p is a protected aac file so your best bet is to burn it to a cd then import (rip) it from the cd as a mp3
More information about the various options available to you can be found here at the dbpoweramp (a very good converter btw) forum

iTunes will do it, even regardless of the indisputable fact that it demands some setup. you do no longer would desire to be on a mac. visit Edit | ideas | progressed and %. the importing tab. replace the element that announces "Import utilising" to declare MP3 particularly of AAC (notice, you will decide directly to alter it returned to AAC once you're accomplished). The in basic terms decide on the songs you opt directly to transform, precise click with the mouse, and decide Convert to MP3. whilst that's carried out, you need to have the two M4P and MP3 records in the same itemizing. you may then pass the MP3 records someplace else and delete them from iTunes, then replace iTunes returned to declare AAC, no longer MP3, on the importing tab.
