Here is a rather odd question. I am not sure how to word the quesiton but I will do my best. Lets say that you had a long term reality based casual relationship. Meaning no more sex. Would it be easier to still keep in contact with the person if you knew that there would never be intimacy again if ..............now here is the question. Easier to keep in contact with them if you DIDNT care deeply for them or if you DID care deeply for them. Keeping in mind there wasnt a chance in H that you would ever be intimate again.

I think you are sying it was sexual but can't be again.

Keeping in touch and caring for them should be OK, but if there is a little ditance that helps.

My first wife and mother of my oldest child is still mey best friend, but if we are alone together it is very hard for either of us not to get physical and that's not an option, so we are not alone. We do talk and so forth.

If one of you still would like intimacy and the other will not or can't this makes it harder. Sex complicates every relationship and once you have been together it is very hard to forget that.

A non-sexual relationship is always easier, but the sexual ones can be quite worth the trouble.

Non-sexual (ever) easier by far.

I hope I helped you!

if you didn't care deeply, then not being intimate wouldn't really matter. It's much easier to cut all ties.
