Following the instruction manual, I pressed the big TP button on my 4-year old Passat's radio (it says"Gamma" on the front of the set, which I suppose is the model). Now, any program I am listening to is interrupted by local radio traffic reports from towns up to 40 miles away. Does anyone know how to turn the TP feature off again? The manual seems silent on the point.
Happy Christmas!

The only help I can offer you is leave them be . It's a lot safer and since it is built in to your car everything is built to compensate don't be a putz sorry I don't like to do things just because someone thinks it's cool. By the way in a lot of states and provinces it you do what you are suggesting they can make you pay to get it fixed again..

Try the VW website, or call your VW dealer. They should be able to help you.
