DVD players are designed to read some video and audio formats, but not data formats like PDF's. The only way you can do this is to connect a computer up to it and load your PDF with a PDF program like Acrobat Reader.

Absolutely not. Dvd player can read lot of different types of data but it can't read text file like pdf.
