he is a prophet (peace e upon him) here is his story::
In Islam, Jesus (`Isa in Arabic) is considered one of the greatest prophets sent by God to mankind. In the Qur'an, Jesus is referred to as `Isa ibn Maryam, or Jesus son of Mary. The story of Mary and Jesus is best described in the Qur'an primarily in the surahs of Aal `Imran and Maryam.
Mary, the mother of Jesus, is described in the Qur'an as being special. She is born into the pious household of Aal `Imran, and her childhood is marked by a unique piety that everyone around her could sense.
The uniqueness of Mary was spelled out to her by the angels:
*{Behold! The angels said: "O Mary! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee — chosen thee above the women of all nations. O Mary! Worship thy Lord devoutly: Prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down."}* (Aal `Imran 3:42-43)
The Prophet Muhammad had also related in a hadith reported byAl- Bukhari that Mary was one of the best of the women Allah had created.
The Birth of Jesus
In relating the story of Jesus, the Qur'an describes how Mary, the mother of Jesus, was approached by an angel from God, bringing her tidings she had never imagined: that she would give birth to a son, a Messiah, who would be of the righteous and would be a prophet of God, calling the Children of Israel (the Israelites) to the straight path of God.
*{(And remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a word from him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto Allah). He will speak unto mankind in his cradle and in his manhood, and he is of the righteous.}* (Aal `Imran 3:45-46)
Naturally, for the chaste Mary, this news was both strange and seemingly impossible.
*{She said: My Lord! How can I have a child when no mortal hath touched me? He said: So (it will be). Allah createth what He will. If He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is. And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel.}* (Aal `Imran 3:47-48)
The very nature of Jesus's birth is so special that God compares the uniqueness of his creation to that of the first man and prophet, Adam.
*{Lo! The likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is.}* (Aal `Imran 3:59)
However, we are told in the Qur'an of a miracle that Jesus performed when he was a baby.
When Mary carried the baby Jesus to her people, they questioned her; and as a baby in her arms, Jesus gave them the answer. The Qur'an describes this scene in detail:
*{He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet; And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live; (He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable; So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!"}* (Maryam 19:26-33)
And so the baby Jesus defended his mother from any accusations of adultery, and in a nutshell, explained who he was and why he was sent by God.
Jesus and His Miracles
Jesus was sent to the Children of Israel in order to confirm the teachings of his predecessor, the Prophet Moses. Jesus's birth was a miracle, and, like all prophets of God, he was granted several miracles. He approached his people, telling them —
*{Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it and it is a bird, by Allah's leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah's leave. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store up in your houses. Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers.
And (I come) confirming that which was before me of the Torah, and to make lawful some of that which was forbidden unto you. I come unto you with a sign from your Lord, so keep your duty to Allah and obey me.
Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.}* (Aal `Imran 3:49-51)
In another incident, after which an entire surah of the Qur'an is named, the disciples of Jesus asked him for another miracle.
*{Behold! the disciples, said: "O Jesus the son of Mary! can thy Lord send down to us a table set (with viands) from heaven?" Jesus said: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith."
They said: "We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that thou hast indeed told us the truth; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle."
Jesus the son of Mary said: "O Allah our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us — for the first and the last of us — a solemn festival and a sign from Thee; and provide for our sustenance, for Thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)."}* (Al-Ma'idah 5:112-114)
God sent them the table they had asked for, but not without a warning.
*{Allah said: "I will send it down unto you: But if any of you after that resisteth faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples."}* (Al-Ma'idah 5:115)
The End of the Story?
The story of Jesus never really ends in the Qur'an, as we are told that Jesus was not killed, but that rather, God raised His beloved prophet up to Him.
*{Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto Me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.}* (Aal `Imran 3:53)
The Qur'an also points out that Jesus was neither killed nor crucified. Speaking of the Children of Israel, Allah faults their accusations against Mary as well as their claim that they killed Jesus.
*{That they rejected Faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge;
And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger — they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! Those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.}* (An-Nisaa' 4:156-158)
The Qur'an confirms that Jesus was raised up by God, and the Prophet Muhammad reassured us that Jesus will be sent down to earth once again before the Day of Judgment in order to re-establish justice and the proper worship of the one Creator.
salam sister,
thanks.

Some of your questions are hard to understand as English is probably not your first language, but I'll answer what I do understand.
1. Jesus came as a sacrifice for everyone's sins. Why is the shedding of blood necessary for forgiveness? Ask God. But blood does represent life. Death is the result of sin, but Jesus died so we can have eternal life.
2. God likes to demonstrate His power through people. We are his vessels. Many details of Jesus' birth (his lineage, where he would be born, etc) had been prophecied a long long time before it happened.
3. Jesus died for the world's sins past, present and future. There is no need for "another Jesus".
4. Where in the Bible? Jesus became sin FOR US, not having actually sinned Himself, so that we could be saved. He put Himself in a position of shame IN OUR PLACE. He was taken down from the cross the same day, by the way, so I'm not sure why you say that or how it's relevant.
5. God put aside his power when He became flesh and came to earth. He made Himself an example of how we are to live and exalt God as our Lord.

OK, this is the Islamic version,
Jesus or Isa is the daughter of Mariam.. but he is not the son of god..
1.)Muslim believe that after Jesus was double crossed by his own people, Allah lift him up to heaven and change the face of the person who double cross him like Jesus... so technically we believe the person that's on the cross is not Jesus..
And we believe, one day when the end of day near, he will return to the Muslim to guide the stray from Allah path..
2.)To us, Jesus is a Prophet.. the point of Mariam getting pregnant without a guy is to prove god is all mighty..
3.)Like the point above he is not sacrifice...
4.) i don't know course never read the bible...
There are more prophet in Islam and some of them are given a book of guidance similar to Al-Quran but less complete.. Injil(If I'm not mistaken its the Bible),Taurat, Zabur and the last is the AL-Quran.. Now Al-Quran is the guidance to all Muslim, but we still use the other book..
I found that Jews, Christian and Islam are not so different..
i'm a proud Muslim

Jesus did acknowledge that He is the Son of God:
Matthew 16:13-17
13When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"
14They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
15"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"
16Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ,[b] the Son of the living God."
17Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.
He is also God:
Isaiah 9:6
6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, [b] Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Since Jesus Himself said He was the Son of God, God incarnate, He was either lying, insane or Who He said He was. If He was lying or insane, He could not be a prophet. So you have a choice - either He was an insane liar or He was the Son of God, God incarnate.

Jesus is the eternal Word. The Word became flesh through Mary so that He could take on Adam's sin for the whole entire world.
In the beginning the Word was with God and was God (John 1:1)
He allowed Himself to be placed on the cross to become a curse in our stead. If He had not done that each and every one of us would have to suffer for Adam's sin.
In His human state, He allowed Himself to be less than His fullness for a season so that He could become a ransom to pay for our sins, but He was and is now fully God the son.
He was God's ONLY begotten son, but by believing in Him, we have the power to become sons of God as well, but adopted sons, not BEGOTTEN as was Jesus.
If you truly believe Allah is the creator God, the Eternal, the Ancient of Days, then can you acknowlege the Hebrew name for Him? Can you acknowledge Him as Yahweh? Or Jehovah? or Jah? If you cannot, then the God you are following is false and you must reconsider your allegience.
I encourage you to read the New Testament before you make judgement calls about who Jesus is. I would suggest starting with Matthew and John; then Galations, Ephesians, and Colossians, and Phillipians... for starters... but definitely read the whole thing; then tell me what you think about who Jesus is.
The trinity is a mystery, and of course the three parts of the Godhead speak among themselves while retaining unity.
You, m'lady, are a trinity; body, soul, and spirit. Do you not find yourself talking to yourself now and then???

Jesus is both a prophet and a part of the Godhead.
To prove that Jesus is a prophet, read Mathhew chapter 24.
Jesus is also a God. He said, " I am the wat, the truth, and the life. Nobody comes through the father but through me." John 14:6.

And I've got a series of contradictions ... some say he is not God but the son of God ! Some said yes ... hear is a link where they present proof from the bible that Jesus is God and he is the creator !
http://www.allaboutgod.com/is-jesus-god.htm
http://ic.net/~erasmus/RAZ98.HTM
http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/jesusgd2.htm
and I've seen other links !
At the end both Jesus and God are worshipped, which means that Both are Gods !

Bismillah. Dear Christian friend. First of all, no thing such as "human god" or "son of god" in the concept of the Prophets. Please read the OT. You can see the rules, the laws of the Prophets. And Jesus himself proclaimed that he came not to abolish the law but to fulfill. Jesus (PBUH) follows the rules of the Prophets. So we don't believe that the concept "son of god" coming from Jesus (PBUH) him self. There must be other party injected such concept. But not Jesus. Or, maybe the way you people interpret the word "son of god" not in correct way. Secondly, the "virgin birth" for us is nothing but one miracle Allah the Almighty gave to His Prophet. This thing was no bigger than the miracle Allah gave to Moses(PBUH) to cross the Red sea. Even Prophet Muhammad (SAW) can split the moon into 2. But we will never call him god or son of god or any divine attribute. That is the SIGN of Prophet hood as what Jesus said in surah 3:50: And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me. Allah creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is. In Arabic, KUN fayaKUN. These words repeated 7 times in Al-Qur'an. Thirdly, there is no way you relate the concept of Christianity to Islam. Islam clearly reject the trinity concept and we never believe such concept coming from Jesus (PBUH). The followers of Jesus (PBUH) in Qur'an were Muslims. Surah 3:52 But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]. So, we have different concept. Salaam.

Prophet
'Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.' (Qur'an 5:72)
