And how often did he display those emotions in general?

Bonus question: Does God never change? Is he the same now as he was in the Old Testament?

He gets angry and jealous often, not to mention disgusted, enraged, egocentric, remorseful and cruel. These are the natural emotions of an all-powerful and all-knowing deity. You got a problem with that?

He first becomes angry with man over the fruit business, with Eve, and the Serpent......

He displays these emotions on a regular Basis.

He never changes, which is why Christ was necessary.....as an intermediary between an angry and jealous God, and a people incapable of inspiring love within him.

Kinda like God saying to His Son..."That's it, I've had ENOUGH, you go to earth and deal with those people"......

But of course, I am only a Buddhist, and speak of this only in the abstract.

Namaste and Happy Holidays,

God, it seems, can have His mind changed. Or, is it a tiny bit beyond us as to why He is a certain way? Do you think, that if He has to explain something to us, that He will have to dumb it down a bit? So, if there is a supreme consciousness, how can you expect to understand the straight up face of things, if it is beyond your comprehension? Kinda like the ants at a picnic explaining the Tupperware and how it came to being. The 'Ware shineth and shows promising Vacuum, for it has been written "He who releaseth the air, will find a treasure from deep below"

Yes, God is the same and never will he change. In the old testament, we know the law given through moses. While in the new testament we learnt that grace and truth came through Jesus christ. (That was stated in the Gospel of John.)

God can be fierce as shown in the old testament, for he despised the wicked and those who indulge in their evil ways with absolute no repentance. But through Jesus Christ, who was his son and a visible reflection of him, we can also see that he can be merciful and caring towards people. Thus, he is the sheperd and we are his sheeps.

God is Justice and Mercy. Never remove any of those two ideas, for that's God who really is.

God changes all the time, God makes the rules, and you don't need to question God's habits.
