Im only 17 but i loveeeeeeee older men like in there 40s , 50s , 60s?
is this weird, when i go out, i get alot of men in my age, and in there 20s coming on to me. but im not intrested . i prefer men who are alot older than me . my friends tell me that old men are disgusting and there all perverts. i think being with men in there 40s, and 50s are gorgeous. and i like men in there 60s too. i dont know what it is about older men. is anyone else like me

At the age of 17, any guy older than 19 or 20 that wants to date you is looking for someone they can control. Stick with guys your own age or, at the most, three years older. In all relationships, you need to be able to stand from a place of personal strength that allows you to have some control within the relationship. This just is not possible when dating a man that is twenty years or more older than you.

Sounds like you are looking for a father figure.You might consider some psychological counceling. Your better off with someone close to your own age. If a man would "date" you being only seventeen, then there is most likely something wrong with him. Why can't these older men get women their own age? Oh and you are too young to be on this site.

No intentions to pry on your past, but I assume you didn't have a father figure growing up? Or did an older male member of the family abuse you in anyway? Or did you lose an older male figure in your family by death/illness?
If you answer "no" to all three, then I guess you're just in to the stability/ steadiness atmosphere that older men bring.
Answer "yes" to either one, then you should reconsider your inhabitions :)

It sounds like you look for a father-figure in a boyfriend. I'm not sure of your situation...maybe you were lacking that in your youth or something. It could be that you like the financial security of an older man. There are many young women who look for older men for reasons like that. Men that age like you for one reason, and it is not because of your conversation.

You worry constantly in every relationship you are ever in because of your low self esteem.
If I am right on a few of these guesses, then you have absent-dad syndrome, and you need to go to counseling before you destroy the rest of your very long life.

this is very sick, sounds to me your looking for a father figure and not a boyfriend but, you being attracted to them means you want a father figure and will do what it takes because you like the attention they give you. You need to get help for this through counseling they are sick to be that age and even slightly attracted to someone your age.
