Should I feel bad?

I was at my boyfriend's parent's Christmas party last night. Well they don't allow smoking in the house, so during dinner I snuck off to the living room for a quick smoke, it was too cold outside for me. Well anyway his mom came around the corner and I threw the cigarette into the Christmas tree. She didn't notice and 10 minutes later the whole tree was ablaze. The tree and all the presents were torched. Should I feel guilty? One more thing I'm Jewish and really couldn't care less.

What CoCo failed to mention it was actually a crack pipe that she was smoking that lit the tree up. Crazy *****.

If this question is serious, maybe your boyfriend could knock over your menorah and set your tablecloth on fire at your parents house. How would you feel then? If you have any feelings for your boyfriend, at least have some respect for what he and his parents believe.

Have a little self control already. If the parents asked you not to smoke in the house, respect their wishes. If you can't live without your addiction while you're there, be woman enough to go and face the cold!

I don't understand why you wouldn't feel bad, but I guess you're entitled to feel whatever you like. If you have feelings for your boyfriend you should apologize to both him and his parents or I'd consider your relationship over with in the near future.

you should feel really bad! you lit the tree on fire, you burned all the presents and you were smoking in the house!!!! The fix, just go up to his mom say im ssssoooooooo sorrry!!!!! I knew i shouldent have been smokin in the house but it was freezing outside! But I love your son so i will do anything to make him and you happy. Even if it uncludes hurting myself to make your son happy!

That is horrible, you should feel bad, but forgive yourself.
there are many things to learn from this mistake, 1) it may be a sign for you to quit smoking 2) you should be more honest about what you are doing instead of trying to hide things and 3) you should learn to respect the traditions of others. Christmas is not about presents or gifts, it is about people.

i would dump u in a quick sec. First of all you have disrespected his mother's house and second of all you have ruined christmas for the whole family. FOr what reason? You were selfish and didn't want to put on a jacket to accomodate your needs. What you did was tell the whole family to screw their rules and kiss your ***.

difficult question to answers. ideally you feel bad and should come out in the open. being jewish has nothing to do with it. arent israel being helped by america under all circumstances.
