So first off im only 14 years old
ive been having a pain in my right leg for a month now. it hasnt ever hurt as bad as it does today. the pain starts at my knee and goes down to mid calf. its a moving pain, and it feels like theres a block of ice going up and down in that area. sometimes(like today)i can barely walk, and when i sat down the pain got worse. and i couldnt get back up. i dont play any sports but im not lazy. so what could this be?(no hospitals work today)

Emergency rooms are open. If you sat down but couldn't get back up, it could be serious.

Does this sound like it might be it?

Q) What is Patello-femoral dysfunction?
A) Also known as Runners knee it's a diffuse pain often felt below the kneecap. Pain may increase when walking up steps, hill running or after prolonged sitting. Most often found in adolescent runners. Can be caused by weak thigh muscles, flat feet or insufficient rest between activities.

Quick Fix:
Cross training, strengthening the thigh muscles, arch supports and applying ice.

Wow. that sounds exactly like what happened to me except mine was in my lower leg like twards my ankle. im almost 14, in about a month. I went to the hospital last night and it turned out i had broken my leg. kinda sux cuz christmas is tomro and i asked for a bike and a skateboard so now if i get them i cant ride em. you should go to the doctor or ER. did you fall on it? or did it start hurting all of a sudden.
