My hair is a blondeish red. Since I got staright a's in school, my mother decided to let me get highlights. Originally i wanted blue but then she suggested maroon.
blue- I'll stand out in a crowd
my fave colour
air is my element
BUT!
i live south so the sun might turn the aqua a funky colour
maroon- might blend better
won't look so bad if it gets damaged
matches my school colours
BUT!
I'm not really a fan of dark reds!

If you get blue highlights, yeah you will stand out in a crowd and be noticed, but a good 95 % of people are going to think it looks weird. But hey, if you want blue, go for it. I just think with the red that's already in your hair the maroon would look better.

if u dont like maroon why not try a different color like purple green exc or go for a brown color i think personally i would try the blue and if it doesnt turn out re highlight it but my aunts and my moms a hairrstyleists so i dont really need to worry about waiting too long wit an ugly color ps do it over a long break so cuz everyone changes and every person wont fuss over u u will still have alot of people noticing but i perfer doing itover a break you get more time to play with it.

hey i think blue is a hotter color than maroon and if ur as hot as i think u can b u could use that new hairstyle of urs to get a real man like me for example oh i got straight a s too and i got 20$dollars so it looks like we r both pretty smart. merry christmas!

It is your hair and everyone will see it. You will have to live with it for awhile. So, go with what you want. If you really want your hair to have blue highlights, more power to you.

My cousins girlfriend is a cosmetologist so I asked her. She said that on your color hair, you should go for a light brown OR ash blonde. It all depends on what color of those you like better, but the light brown would look better.
