Go to almost any local drug store or grocery store and get a bag of Halls supplement drops (like cough drops) with vitamin C zinc and echinacea in them. They are really inexpensive and they will fight off a cold very quickly. I don't know if you can get relief for your ears once it has gone that far , you may need a decongestant. But the other works so well for head colds and chest colds. And the earlier the better. This time of year I take one after I spend time out in crowds and avoid colds all together. Also, if you don't feel well they work fast. just start by taking 1 an hour for 3 hours and then 3 times a day the next day. And you will feel pretty much ok again. really!

Go see the doctor about your blocked ears. He/she can give you something to clear them.
Try not to sniff. That will make it worse because it goes right to your ears.
