I really don't like to get my family unhealthy foods, but it is christmas time so I have to decide what to get/make them. Every candy or cookie or cake etc. seems to be either high in sugar or high in fat. Which one is worse the fat or the sugar? Also, any suggestions of the "healthiest" candies/desserts?

Dark chocolate has more antioxidant flavinoids than a glass of red wine(sourced from an advertisement in my local grocery store). I would say get them whatever tastes good, just don't provide huge amounts of it. In moderation almost nothing is bad for you my friend. I have heard it said that you have to swim for 18 minutes to work off a single ginger bread cookie...but lord what is life without ginger bread once a year? Good luck and Be well.
