do guys like it if a girl..girlfriend gives them space, say like texting& calling every other day or do they like to hear from their girl often...like every day..at least say..7times in one day?

Everything relationship is different. Ultimately, the set up should be that the guy calls the girl a little bit more often. If you are in a relationship in which he calls you several times a day, it's ok to do the same. However if he is the type to call once in awhile, give him the same treatment. The point is you shouldn't invest more time in contacting the guy if he is not going to do the same. It's ultimately going to frustrate you and embarass you. MAKE SURE YOU ARE THE ONE BEING PURSUED.

Hard to say... The balance is between too much space, and too little.. Unfortunately, it also depends on the person as well, which also kind of scraps the entire equation. Some prefer to have a little more attention than just hearing from her once a day, others, would prefer once a month. (which, makes me kind of think the relationship there, is already heading for catastrophe.) Clinging.. This has got to be the worse way to describe it, when someone keeps in contact, wants to be in constant contact. it isn't clinging. Clinging is when you have someone practically smothering you, and already fears losing the other person. Again, it's that ever popular balancing act.. finding the right amount.. I for one, wouldn't mind finding someone who wants to keep in contact, but not to the point of pushing others away, claiming every second of my life.. People do need to be alone, but not 100% of their life. Unfortunately, I keep finding women who "want their space", but seem unwilling to allow me, or anything else, into it. Sorry to sound like Dr. Phil, but it's the people who keep claiming "No Strings" who end-up hanging themselves. They claim "No Players" yet they play just as much.

definitely depends on the guy. but i think that space is good because it keeps him guessing. kinda like you are a challenge to him. and i am pretty sure that most guys like a challenge.

it depends. If you're only callin me to nag and ***** at me then don't call me. If you wanna tell me something funny or important then call me otherwise, if you just wanna chat and see what i'm doing i'll feel like you just wanna keep tabs on me and that's not coo.

seven times is a bit much, but if you want to talk to him he is your boyfriend so call him. It's not healthy to play games in a relationship.
