When we sin, we make our soul unclean. Leprosy shows on the outside what sin causes our soul to look like on the inside.

They have been compared metaphorically.
Just to be clear, it does not mean that people have sinned to cause their leprosy.

Seeds are also metaphorically compared to people's actions.

God's WORD, is filled with WORD PICTURES, and MOST are a Reflection of the CONDITION OF OUR SOUL in our walk here on Earth!

One of my favorite verses for Checking My CONDITION, is...

(Psalms 66:18) If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

This ties to the New Testament Principle of having a Clear Conscience.....

A just and righteous god gives his followers a taste of the hell he has planned for them by inflicting them with leprosy for not following his rules.

What kind of person believes in violent and sadistic stories such as this?

There are many flaws in this religious crap and people still believe it.
If god doesn't want people to sin, why doesn't he just make them perfect? Why would he inflict disease on them and THEN send them to hell?
