How much chest pain is usually associated with Nutcracker Esophagus?

My doctor thinks I may have "Nutcracker Esophagus". How much chest pain is typical for this disorder? Does this disorder worsen or go away? Yes, I need to ask him these questions but haven't yet had an opportunity. Thanks!
