You need a program which is a "dvd ripper". It will take the video off the dvd and save it to your hard drive in a format Movie Maker can use. Go to download.com and do a search. They have several free ones there. I use one called "Divx DVD Ripper".

Be aware that ripping video from a copyrighted DVD is a felony in the US. Also, if the disc is "copy protected" (and most commercial DVDs are) you will not be able to rip from the disc.

You wold have to download them from itunes, or other legal download site, or an illegal site

Then get, download a dvd ripper, and use that to save the videos on your computer
