Many home theater enthusiasts recommend www.monoprice.com They sell high quality cables at a fraction of the price of Monster cable. I purchase almost all of my cables from monoprice. For instance, I just bought a 3 ft HDMI cable for less than $10 (including shipping).

Radio shack Ebay any store that sell audio or video appliances should carry them. get gold series though they have the best transfer rate and least interference

go to a audio store and they will tell you what you need, then you coudl buy somewhere else if needed, get longer thsn you need, if your equipment is in a cabinet, you want to be able to service the equipment without unplugging the components.
