My puppy gets I think a new squeekie toy or two a week. She has this basket that I put them in and when she wants to play with them she picks one out and plays with it. The new toy that I just gave her about 3 hours ago she is in love with. She'll carry it around with her everywhere, toss it around with it still in her mouth, run with it, and she'll do this day in and day out with her new toy and her other toys. She sounds like it since she carries it around with her for the last day; however with the squeek she might not be use to that sound/noise and it might make her uncomfortable. I think with time she'll figure it out. It's kind of mixed emotions, she likes the toy but she isn't use to the squeek.

Right, it could be a number of things! First, she likes the toy so she doesnt want to let it go! I had a dog that loved my old action man toy and never let it go! The squeek cry could be because she thinks thats something is inside and either beleives that she cant help it or she could be frustrated that she cannot find out what is inside! Also, the high pitched sound could be hurting her ears! Dont worry and let her be!

She maybe trying to talk with it. the squeek mimics a dogs cry. The squeeky piece can me removed. making it soundless see it the makes a difference. The carring the the toy is like Linus's Blanket..it make it feel secure.

My dog has a basket of assorted squeeky toys, and he loves them! Sometimes he takes out the whole bunch -- so cute. When I hear the squeek, I know he is playing with his toys. As far as your dog goes, if she's playing with them, she probably enjoys it. It's new, and she probably doesn't quite understand it yet. Give it time.

I have a Siberian Husky and we bought her a rubber chicken with a squeaker in it. She carried that chicken around with her everywhere like it was one of her puppies or something, and whenever it would squeak, she would whine. We even took the squeaker out of it because we thought maybe that's what was bothering her. But she still carried it around constantly, refusing to give it up. She was driving us crazy with it. We finally replaced it with another toy.

It sounds to me she really likes her toy, to the extent of bonding with it.
Has she been spay'd? You will see many cases like this called Psuedo Pregnancy (False Pregnancy) primarily with unaltered (not spay'd) females who have been bred or not bred. Its their body (hormones) kicking in their motherhood instinct. Double check with your vet to make sure she doesn't have a ovarian or uterian cancer..... many times these cansers off set the hormones causing false pregnancy.
If she is spayed, more than likely she has an insecurity issue. My Boxer is this way, always has to have a toy, and the more noise it makes the more vocal he gets about it and he can't go anywhere with out it, Its kinda like his woobie and imaginary friend all in one......

Your dog's a weirdo, like mine. Flop will carry around a favorite chewy - all around the house - and cry occasionally. For effect, I think, because he always settles down and enjoys his chewy eventually!

The pitch of the squeak is probably hurting her ears. Dogs are very sensitive to high pitched noises. I would try to remove the squeaker.

maybe she just likes her toy, so she carries it around everywhere, and when it squeaks, she thinks that her "baby" is crying so that makes her upset
