I just got my digital camera for Christmas and it is driving me insane! It's a kodak easyshare C530, It came with the printer dock which charges the batteries. So, Does the camera have to be turned on or off to charge them?

FYI, I DID READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! SOMETIMES ITS HARD TO FIND THEM WHEN SO MUCH OF ITS IN SPANISH!!!

you turn it off when its charging!!!

Yes, it is best to have cameras and cell phones off when charging. Its best for the life of your battery.
Put on charge for a full 24 hours for its first charge.

You turn it off when you charge it, I have one as well and I'm charging it now. Make sure you charge it for as long as it says on the box, if not your camera could get damaged.

I could say if all else fails learn Spanish. Answer is OFF.
