The best way to dump someone is to find somewhere where you two are alone, not surronded by his or your friends, and to say you're sorry but it's not working out and then tell him why.

I am sorry to hear you broke up. It is a hard thing to deal with at first. My bf and i broke up on Thanksgiving, he was suppose to be moving so we broke up. A week later i found out i was pregnant, needless to say all the hurt in the world came down on me. My friends were very supportive and kept me busy to deal with everything. Stay busy, focus on you and what makes you happy. It will get better.

i was dumped two years back.
i focus more on my work. work hard and read good books. at times i asked myself what i want? would i want to die? would i want to be handicap? would i want to put my weight on somebody? all answers were NO NO NO.
also i look at others who were even worse than me. i got strength and i moved on gradually and now i am happy and wouldn't at this place if i was with him.
