I know what you mean! Its because of the foods we do eat when we are able to eat again. If we start back with greasy foods our body rejects it because we should not be consuming these things anyway, afer not eating for a few days you should eat all healthy foods and natural foods your body returns to normal after not eating for a certain amount of time and would like to to receive natural things from the earth or will reject it.

Hi!
I have done that. Even missing a couple of meals or going beyond a mealtime if you are not hungry can get the same result.
I think the feeling of disgust you mention comes from the body revving up and getting back into a rhythm again. To me it is sort of like nausea. I think the thing to do is to eat very little for a while until your body can take the food, and I also think that it would be good to start off with pure water so your body does not have too much work to do. It always can stand a rest!

haha i used to do this all the time ,you stop feeling totally hungry about day three, and you have more energy ,its because your matabilizem has stopped and you are now living off body fat ,you lose weight fast as long as you drink lots of water ,and you feel bad when you eat because you feel you are not in controll again ,but its good ,because ,you are in control and your body is you ,its looking after you as best as it knows how so dont abuse it or it will hit back hard at you and make you very ill be carefull if you are doing this ,,,its ok for a short time say one week at a time but not too long unless doing it under a doctor.

Basically, your body thinks you're starving, so it starts to shut down non-essential functions. Hey, if you're not eating, you don't need your stomach working, right? And your metabolism starts to slow down and work more efficiently, so you don't use as many calories.
When you start eating again, your body needs some time to readjust.

I have no idea what you mean. Why would you not eat for days at a time. Sounds very unhealthy. I would have to guess Anorexia. See someone.
