In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

As Satan is the "deceiver", yes, it's possible that he might attempt something like that. However, he would be incapable of imitating the true NATURE of Jesus, and therefore his disguise would be ineffective to believers.

he already has happened many times as false christs in the past ..and this will culminate in the near future with the anti-christ.

Jesus prophesied that false christs would come claiming to be him....you will know the real one...a tree is known by its fruit....bad tree...bad fruit...the next time jesus comes, it will be with glory and power, decending from heaven with all eyes upon Him.....and there will be no question who he is...if it is just some guy in a suit, or a turban, do not believe it.

Satan already came as Jesus and he'll fight the real Messiah, the Jews are still waiting for the real Messiah as described in Isaiah. The real Messiah is supposed to show us all the true path and give us all equal opportunity to redeem ourselves. The Messiah is not going to say "Accept me or you'll go to hell". That's the deceiver.

Possible?

It has been predicted in the Bible.

You have already seen an example of such disguises.

George Bush disguises himself as a President, every day.

If you buy into that whole thing......... that's the whole point about the 'Anti-Christ' coming first.

Of course with all things involving 'Free Will'......... what's to say the 'Anti-Christ' isn't "waiting" and making the 'Real Christ' make the first move and enter first?

It would make it kinda hard to come here as Jesus if the Anti-Christ was not here first.....

Everyone wold think the real dude is the fake dude...

What a mental mess that would make huh?

In Islam we believe that Satan will do that and that (I'm not sure on details) he will be the anti-christ called Dajjal. Beware, if one of his eyes buldges like a grape he is not the real Christ. Lol Im not lying! Peace.

He was actually planning on it, except his Jesus costume shrunk in the wash. (He had the washing machine on the wrong setting. He didn't think to look at the washing label before putting it in.)

Suffice to say, he's going to have to come to Earth dressed in his Ed Grimley costume instead.

Not likely.

There is no god.

There is no Jesus (except as a character in a book).

There is no Satan.

It is kind of tough to get around those three things.
