At Christmastime, we sing Advent carols celebrating the birth of Christ. Is there any similiar musical work in the Muslim world? I'm interested in anything celebrating God, specifically.

I praise your interest; Happy Holidays! I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but here is the lyrics to a nasheed you might like (you can listen to it and other ones on the website). Peace and God bless.

~A whisper of peace moving thru the land
Allah will surely run to us if we hold out our hand
A word of hope; a call to every woman and man
A light until the end of time...this is el-Islam~
