You have to check each bulb one by one to see which one needs to be replaced. In my opinion it's worth a couple of dollars to just get new ones.

The 3 stringed ones will have a starter bulb that will make the string blink. Try each and every bulb to check wiring and positioning. Make sure you have at couple of starter ones, (larger end filaments, not just 2 but 3 wires)

sounds like a miles less high priced string with the bulbs in sequence. If one blows then all of them flow because of the fact the electrical powered energy can no longer go the hollow interior the broken filament. extra suitable ones have the bulbs in parallel, if one is going then the others will nonetheless artwork.
