I found that girls like a men thats confident and funny. They don't like the kind of guys that tells them the same thing that every other guy tells her. eg. Come here often, Do you go to school or do you work, your hot, etc...
Remember, it's not a job interview, you don't know her. Just talk to them like you would if they were a guy (by that I mean relaxed, joking around type of attitude, not swearing, and being sick and talking about sex and death), and try not to smile alot, because then, you look like every other guy, who is just talking to her, because of her looks, hoping and praying that he will say something that will make her want him, and for her to ask him out (when she decides and leads the conversation, and you just kiss up and do what she wants and say what she wants to hear {or atleast when you think that's what they want}, then your chances are next to none, compared to what it would be if you were in charge of the conversation). Change topics quick. Don't talk about the same thing for to long. LEAD the conversation, girls like a men that knows how to take control of the situation, including conversations. Don't let them intimidate you, remember, turn the table around, instead of approaching her, and letting her know that your trying to get her approval, approach her, and make her earn your approval. Always stay in control.
This might not make sense, so I would recommend you watch, The Mask starring Jim Carrey. Watch how at first, he's like every other guy, girls will talk to him, but he can't seem to keep them interested in him, and he lets people push him around. But, when he puts the mask on, everything changes, he's Confident, Cool, Funny, constantly decides how the conversation goes, and, does what he wants to do. He runs the show and is, well, standing out from every other guy, and it's Cameron Diaz's character that is trying to win him, because she's interested and curious about him, and wants to get to know him better.
Another great example of a confident men that knows how to use humour is James Bond. He's quick, cocky, funny, and is in charge of the situation that's before him. Notice how when he talks to girls, he leads the conversation (the girls put up their usual why should I listen to you, and he just makes some remark that catches them of gaurd and makes them laugh. And, in the process, lets them know at the same time, that he is in charge, and he isn't buying her act).
Don Juan de Marco is also a good example of how to act and talk to girls. He's confident, and when he does talk about sex to the ladies, he uses words and describes the feelings that happened or were felt during sex. He gets them thinking about it, and they imagine the feelings, and then, they also want to have sex with him, but, then, all of a sudden, he's gone. He had total control of the situation, he lead the conversation, and ended the conversation. He got her interested in him, and by ending the conversation, and leaving, he made them want him more, because he was different, mysterious, confident, and in control.
As in all the cases, When Jim Carreys character has the mask on, James Bond and Don Juan talks to the girls, they all have a sense of mystery to them, they're not smiling like little kids. Smiling is ok, as long as you don't smile to much, this might send the girl the wrong message, it might send her the impression that your needy and insecure, and that is a big turn off for them.
Some girls just simply aren't interested because either, they are lesbians, have a boyfriend, are married or have had a bad experience, and simply doesn't want anything at the moment. Don't let this bug you, just let it go, trust me. They probably think that your a great guy, so don't take offence to it, and then end up insulting her or something. Hey, they might have friends that are actually a better match for you, and would probably introduce you to them, if you got to know them and treated them nice.
It doesn't hurt if you actually have a life, and do different stuff, read books etc..., gives you more option about what to talk, and makes you look smarter to, which impresses them to.
Anyways, hungry and gonna get something to eat. Hope this helps you in any way what so ever.
Remember, it's your reality when you talk to them. They have to win your approval, to be a part of your reality, not them giving you the approval, to be in your reality. A big part of meeting a girl and trying to pick her up isn't what you say, but in the way that you say it.

This seemed like a fun question to answer. More guys should attempt to approach women they are attracted to in a public place. I'm not sure of my perfect scenario, but I'd like a guy that was bold enough to tell me he liked how I moved. He should quickly follow up by asking me if I'm single and available, that he's definitely single, and to ask if I came there often. LOL Maybe he could also attempt to make plans to meet me at the same place one week from then, to go see a movie, get something to eat and leave his number in case my plans changed. Sexual references of any kind would be considered unacceptable to me--otherwise compliments, positive remarks, etc. would be a good start to a conversation. I can't think of any public places not acceptable.

Hmmmm...the perfect approach? Well that would have to be when a cute guy comes up to me and says, "Hi, I'm so-and-so, and I just didn't want to leave this place without getting to talk to you...you're the hottest girl here"...of course that would not be OK if I was with a guy though. So one rule would be-Don't ever approach a girl who is sitting with a guy. Most of the time these things will happen at a bar...however it would be really nice to meet a guy when he is sober-like at church or in a class. good luck

Never approach a girl in a poorly lit outside place at night, Dark parking lots are a big no no. If she is busy with work or on the phone or just in a rush to get somewhere, stay the F away! If you want to meet girls this way, you need to be confidant and have something to talk about. You can't just walk up to her and say "Hi, I'm Danny. I like you." that doesn't work. Try to strike up small talk or have a ligament reason to talk to her, like if she drops something or has a tag on her shirt. Then walk away and pretend you have something else to do. If you act like you don't want the sh1t... you get the sh1t for free!

Well, you should really never say something like, "hey, I want to get all Richard Nixon in that A-s-s...bubidy blubudy blubidy"
I would, as a better approach, simply say something like, "hi, this I know this is weird, but I would like to take you out for coffee sometime. " then hand her your phone number and a twenty dollar visa gift card so she can go and do a criminal search, $19.95 usually on the Internet, and then she'll call you when she knows your not a felon or a pedophile....as long as that isn't a problem...
Otherwise my friend...it is a crap shoot...Just don't take it over the top like I just did here.

The ONE thing guys need to realize is that we are not all play things..if u can understand that then the next thing u need to do is casually walk by her if u see her with a guy then leave her be.. if shes alone then maybe acidentally bump into her(NOT TOO HARD THO)... then apologize to her and then start up a convo. before u leave her make sure u apologize again for "bumping" her... THE # 1 thing u DONT want to ask her id: "U wanna go back to my place?" thats just plain wrong when u meet a girl for the first time.

Ok, this one takes guts. Walk up to her and say "I just wanted to tell you I think you have a great smile. Have a nice day." and walk away. If she likes you....don't worry...she will call after you. If she is taken or not interested, then you don't lose your pride.
The thing is, every girl LOVES a compliment so no matter what, you made her day. The other thing is, you could be casual and just say "Hey, how are ya?" but if shes' not interested, then she will either act funky or pretend to be nice to humour you, both of which will embarrass you.
If you go into it thinking, I just want to brighten her day, then you have nothing to lose and she will think you are a great person for doing so. Try it out...it'll build your confidence and you will be one heck of a confident guy!

I like it when guys make good eye contact then smile, and it let's me know he's interested( if she looks at you in a way that shows she's not interested back just leave that chick alone), and when I smile back it shows him it's cool to come talk to me. I like being approached at restaurants, malls, grocery store,or just out with friends. But since I live in the US, and our crime rates are seriously high, I wouldn't want a guy to come up to me in a parking lot, ATM machine, or anywhere too secluded because then it's just weird.

Maybe have a question about where something is and tell her she looked friendly and knowledgeable so you decided to ask her and hoped she wouldn't mind. If you're in a book store ask where a certain section is for example and then ask her what book she's looking for or why she's there browsing, etc. Show interest beyond that you found her attractive.
Just be friendly and non threatening. Don't use pick up lines and don't tell her she's hot or call her babe.

Just walk up to a girl and say hi! Then give her a compliment and ask to sit down! Never just sit down on your own! ( Their boyfriend might just be in the bathroom!) Restaraunts, cofee shops, malls, and book stores are good places to approach someone! Hair salons, at their jobs, and at grocery stores might not be good places to approach someone! Girls don't like to be approaches when they are not looking good!
