Your dog probably has ticks or fleas. You can have your dog go for a flea/tick dip at your local vet that kills all the fleas living your dog's body. Also try buying that comb for pets which have very fine teeth for maintenance so you can weed out the ticks or fleas in the dog's coat with one brush! Good luck!

If you are feeding him crap food he is probably developing a yeast problem which is caused by a food allergy.
My dog had it and lots all his hair, his skin became black and he smelled like yeast. It cost me 3 grand at the vet.
Go to the vet and get some allergy free food. See after a couple of months if this does not change. It helped my dog big time.
Or get him on the expensive food that is from the specialty health food stores. It has less crap in it. The junk dog food at the stores is killing dogs!!!!!
Have mercy on him, change his food to healthy stuff. Not crap that he would not eat in the wild. Dont give him ANY flour or sugar stuff. It feeds yeast.
Does he smell? if he does and its been getting bad, its yeast.

It could be a lot of things dry skin, fleas, or allergies. Try giving him a bath in oatmeal shampoo for dogs. Make sure he does not have fleas. And allergies can develop at any stage of life, they can be from food to environmental.

It could be fleas, ticks, or allergy to something he ate. Check for any signs of bugs or bug bite marks. If you don't see anything try a better type of dog food.

i think your dog might have ticks, you should take him to the vet so he can give you a collar called preventic that is to prevent ticks or any other creature and after that try to wash him with oatmeal shampoo because ticks tend to irritate the dogs skin and it will produce more itching... Hope he gets better!!!!!

he could have gone crazy, but i think you just need to see a vet. you could also put some medication on his skin. if you've been giving him something new, that could be it. just go see a vet because you'll never know if you don't and you don't want it to get worse.
