There is an actual ban on scarves? Or just where public safety is concerned (like driver's licenses)?

It certainly is.
The relationship a person has with the Almighty GOD is the most important relationship in his/her life, and because some people base their beliefs and actions on their religious beliefs, freedom of religion is more comprehensive than other freedoms.

It is certainly hypocritical that some European nations claim to be supporters of human rights, yet suppress religious freedom. Imagine how those young ladies must feel when they are forced to reject their own mandatory religious practice by removing their scarves at school, etc. What is worse is that countries that claim to have a Muslim majority, like Turkey and some Arab countries, are similarly suppressing religious freedom.

Despite its oppressive and devastating foreign policy, protection of religious freedom at home is probably the brightest spot for America, and its citizens, as well as the citizens of other countries, must do what they can to make sure it continues and that religious freedom is expanded.

The most basic right is to love and be loved. The freedom of religion is the very first right promised in the bill of rights in the United States Constitution. Bright blessings to our forefathers for protecting us from religious oppression.

For a central authority to appreciate the individuals's freedom of religion, it ought to be unfastened from faith. No government can blend any faith of any sort in its workings and function the skill to surely provide freedom of religion. as quickly because it somewhat is blended with faith then it is basically giving freedom of religion to those who desire to coach the religion the government is blended with. a real government that respects freedom of religion is one that is secular. it somewhat is faith impartial. It neither promotes nor denies faith.
