I know right now they're allies, sort of, NATO and all that, but times change. Besides, the United States is on a killing spree in Middle East, for quite a few years. My guess is UK would side with the USA, and Europe would ask Russia's help. What do you think?

Thanks

UK would be on the european side. Pretty obvious why. france is just 32 miles accross the channel. Missiles can be fired easily from mainland europe to britain so why would we take that chance. The UK on its own could give USA its biggest war ever and it would be to hard to call a winner but i think the UK would just win although there would be huge civilain casulties. Now add the rest of europe and russia to this and the USA stands no chance. The USA may have the biggest budget but its poorly
trained compaired to the UK and its european counterparts and all in all its men that ultimately win wars not technology.

I know alot of Americans will slate me for this but face the facts. UK is better, Europe is better, Russia is mad. add that together and thats more effective than all the money America can spend.

Just like to add that any war would be catastrophic on civilain populations for all nations involved so its best that it doesnt happen. This counts for both nuclear and none nuclear wars.

I do hope Britain cuts his ties from the US on certain things as i think Britain could be a better force for good if we were seen tio be making our own decisions.
We can gain the respect of our enemies better than anyone else ( Germany in world war 2 saw us as the biggest threat to there power, russia in the cold war ).

I hate liberals - most of the american military would agree the british are better soldiers so i am right there. The germans were more affraid of britain than america. russia would of rather nuked britain than go to war with us. ( out numbered us a lot more than US do now ) They would of gladly gone to war with US. We do a better job in Iraq and afganistan than US with 10% of the people. Blair wont be there for ever and most people in england dont like the fact we do what America says so we would become more independent under a new goverment. Oh yeh by the way have you considered the commonwealth? That gives us a huge tactical advantage over you. Canada from the north and the carabean from the south.

lancs lad, u.k alone could beat the u.s.a, im sure u could buddy... you had enough trouble when argentina took over the falklands from u, and u think u can beat a population of 300 million with the largest economy the world has ever known? not to mention the best military on the planet since the last world war, a conventional war with england, would be the end of england. until we rebuilt ur country and then u might one day be our equal, if u get a bigger island

and the british are not doing a better job in iraq and afghanistan, ur soldiers are in far safer places than any american military man/woman, and id rather nuke england to than fight a war with the u.s., cuz that would be a very easy solution instead of fighting america

nicely we already beat the Brits two times, Germans as quickly as and stored France and enormously lots all people else in Europe from the Germans so Im thinking NO. Our militia is probably approximately as massive as all of the defense force in Europe mixed so it may be close, yet not one of the international locations in Europe's Air rigidity or military can evaluate to the dimensions of ours so we would win. yet like quite a few different guy reported we are very close to to all of the international locations in Europe and an excellent form of international locations from Europe are helping us interior the midsection east appropriate now so the possibility people entering right into a conflict is next to none.

I think you've forgotten to take you're medicine .

Must the US ever invade Europe ( what will never happen ) they wouldn't going to have a stroll. Those " would be army's that can't put up a fight" according to some well they certainly can. Take that for granted.
And something else don't forget the resistance because the invading army will be seen as a conqueror and certainly not as a liberator

I think that you are an idiot... but, hey, that's just my opinion and you *did* ask....But as to your "what if..." Russia would side with the Middle East and doesn't give a crap about Europe. UK is smart and they don't like the French anyway... so it would be US & UK vs France & Germany.... Most of the rest of the EU aren't stupid either and would rather live that take on the US.... France would surender once the first shot was fired... That leaves Gremany... could be a possible contender but for the large Islamic population that would riot for any reason anyway..
I hope that you are one of the first to join the Franco-German effort.

England would side w/ America. You know why? Because most of Europe cant fight worth sh!t; the only decent militaries since WWII over there are Britain and France (France has power, just doesnt know how to use it). And Britain/France forces wouldnt last in an all out war w/ America. Plus Britain wouldnt turn on its ally, the US. Now that the US is close w/ Israel, and Britain. After its done in Iraq and takes a couple months to reorganize; it will be unstoppable. You have 3 Nuclear Countries all allied w/ eachother, they are the best trained forces on Earth, and this would make these 3 nations most powerful militarial wise. (Theyre already close to it by themselves)
--
It would be a good battle, but after a year or two the US would come out victorious.

BTW-Europe doesnt have the balls to wage war w/ America

Lanc Lad- You have no idea what your talking about.

It'll never happen. A war between the EU and Russia is more likely, and even that'll probably never happen. A war between the USA and China is even more likely, but even that will probably never happen.

Well, in the rather unlikely event of this occuring, it is likely that disasterous effects would occur on both sides. America is already reaching its breaking point, and Europe has alot of, well, not-so-amazing militaries. But, Europe would pull through in my opinion.

In politics, if you are in not in power it is easy to stir up support by blaming the people in power. But what if your party is in power? Who can they blame to keep the public from realizing they are the problem? Why not America?

This kind of mentality is the reason European politicians rail against the US, but war? Don't be silly.
