Okay, so my last question was how do I know if I'm anorexic. Obviously a lot of you think I am anorexic. So, how do I tell myself I'm not fat? How can I make food not the enemy? Help!

You should go outside and take a good look around at the people there and see what they look like. I'm sure they're bigger than you are and it's probably unhealthy to maintain your lifestyle.

It also helps when your friends tell you the truth about your body, anorexia messes with your mind.

My day of realization happened last summer. I was in a Paul Frank store and bought an extra small shirt and it's loose on me around my waist... But like a few weeks later I saw a girl and I was like "Wow, I wish I was as thin as her." But then I realized that she was wearing a Paul Frank shirt and it fit her entire body well... If my extra small Paul Frank shirt is loose on me, how can that girl be thinner than me? Anorexia really distorted my brain.

I have this problem too. I am 5' 10" tall and I wear a size 8 in pants. I have to wear a size 12 in a jacket to get the shoulders wide enough and the sleeves a decent length, but I have to take it up in the body so that I don't look like I'm wearing a box. When I look in the mirror I see a fat slob. I have to ignore what I see and trust what reason tells me--I am not fat. I weigh myself everyday and if I fall below my contracted minimum weight I eat 2000 calories a day until it comes back. Good luck! I know anorexia is more complicated than having a body image mis-perception, but perhaps this can be a start.

Most of Anorexic people also suffer from Zinc deficiency..which can change your view of life ..and view of how you look at your self ..what you can do is to supplement multi vitamin and mineral complex containing minimum 25mg of Zinc or take multi vit and extra vitamin Zinc to add to 25mg a day.

By weighing yourself. If you are less than a 100lbs and you are 18 years old or above, you are actually malnourished. Get your height vs weight ratio. Search for it in the net as BMI ratio calculator. Enter your weight and your height. It will determine if you are under nourished or a bit fat for your height.

Just tell yourself everyday that you are not fat. And eat moderately and when you eat chew your food more than ten times before you swallow the food, this will help you eat less and get full and satisfaction faster.

Try it and you will see wonders happen! Good Luck!

Look at the people around you and think about it. They look bigger then you don't they, and they aren't fat. Just try and exercise because this can help you get fit and when your fit, your not fat.

Your body is your temple. Feed it well. Just keep telling yourself that: "my body is my temple and I shall feed it well"
