I tried to add one new voice. It kept refusing to recognise it so bit by bit I took off all the software cos it said the disk was too full (but it wasn't cos I never put anything extra on it) now it won't work and if I try and put the things back on it it just says it is too full. I need a clean restore of software but don't know how to clear the memory card. I kept back up but it won't go back on.

Whatever you do DO NOT delete the maps!!

Backup, ie. Copy the complete card to your PC before you start.

Log into TomTom & download TomTom HOME. Wipe the card & install the new software (updates) - then copy your maps back on....should work fine.

If not (as a mate of mine buggered his maps too) then it's £33 (45euro) to get the very latest maps 2006 direct from TomTom with activation codes etc. Well worth it.
