PROS:
1. no one has to make the first move... it's made for u by the ppl who set u up
2. if you weren't set up blindly then you might never had met, and even if it doesnt work out, you met one more person that you might not have met otherwise
3. they could be realy HOT u lucky girl!!
4. even if he's a freak you can always just leave and (hopefully) never see him again.
CONS:
1. they might be ugly (i know its shallow but its important!!)
2. it might be realy awkward at the beginning since you don't know each other
3. he might be really wierd and a freak!
if u're contemplating on whether you should go on a blind date or not, GO FOR IT!! you really have nothing to lose. even if he's ugly or wierd you can leave. but imagine if he's hot and funny and awesome! you'll never know unless u try it so go!

Pros for blind dates are mostly if you are too shy to chat someone up and so have forgone that part and gone straight to the date. You know you both want to be there otherwise you would be sitting alone and as the other person doesn't know you it is a good way to come across how you want to be percieved without previous bias.
Cons are that you might end up dating a serial killer ;)

a pro is meeting different kinds of people a con is... well the samething. u dont know anything about this person or what they look like or anything like that some types of people might be oksome might be really gross and dirty

pro: It's good for the soul to meet & talk w/new people Cons:You don't ever let a new date know where u live! arrange to b p/u @ a friends house. he may be a stalker.
