Depends on your learning ability, is she asking you to buy one because she thinks you need one to learn better or is it just something to complain about. its your money, your grade.

Tell him/her you don't have enough money to buy a calculator, and I'm pretty sure the school would have an extra one.

you can afford a computer, electric bill for it, internet but you cant afford a calculator!!!!!
just buy a simple one.

if ur teacher can afford to buy for u,u can ask her or ask if she/he have xtra calc or ask ur neighbour /relatives who can buy for u.
